Our mission

Most people bet on emotion, on their favorite team, on a friend's tip. Statistics show that's the fastest way to lose money.

Manto exists to change that. Our mission is to democratize access to serious quantitative analysis in the betting market — the same kind of rigor Wall Street professionals apply to financial markets.

How it works

Our proprietary system crunches dozens of variables for each match:

Recent offensive and defensive performance
Home vs away splits
Expected goals (xG) and actual goals
Relative team strength
Contextual factors (schedule, injuries, motivation)

This data feeds a statistical model that estimates the real probability of each outcome. We compare with the odds offered by sportsbooks and identify value bets — situations where the offered odd is mathematically superior to the real risk.

Radical transparency

Unlike most "tipsters", we show:

Full history: every past prediction, with hits and misses, real ROI
Open probabilities: every prediction comes with the calculated probability, not just the final pick
Methodology: we explain how the model works and what it considers
Limitations: we acknowledge when confidence is low — not every game has a value bet

Why "Manto"?

In Brazilian football, the manto (jersey) is sacred. It represents tradition, belonging, identity. We want the same kind of respect given to how you bet: serious, data-based, with pride.

Being a Manto member is wearing that jersey. It's saying: "I bet with my head, not my heart."

The founders

Manto was founded by two partners — one with a software development background, the other in quantitative finance. We combined both areas to build what we wished we had found when we started betting.
